The History of RockBlocks
RockBlocks was conceived by sourcing, customs and import/export experts and developed in the early 1990’s as part of Rockport Trade Systems. Over the last decade, RockBlocks has evolved into the dominant software in this segment and has included a wide range of innovations including web access, mass updating, email and SMS-alerts, versioned-correspondence and collaboration. Following several acquisitions of Rockblocks by companies eager to grow in their vertical industries, RockBlocks was acquired by Tourtellotte Solutions – a premium product and services company serving the consumer, retail and pharmaceutical sectors. Throughout its development, RockBlocks, known by a number of names including Tradeweave™, TS Sourcing™, and QRS Sourcing™, has maintained a functional and operational advantage over competing systems through a combination of breadth and depth unmatched in the industry. RockBlocks maintains, and is extending that advantage today.

In late December 2007, RockBlocks spun out of Tourtellotte Solutions and opened another chapter of growth, announcing the addition of senior management into COO, CTO and VP Marketing, Account Management and Professional Service positions. As RockBlocks enters 2008, we look forward to an increased pace of innovation, and the introduction of advanced modules targeting specific retail niches important to our present and future customer base.
